The Breckconnect is the newest addition to the ski slopes of Breckenridge. It is a new 8-passenger gondola. It opened in January of 2007 and it provides a 10 minute ride for its passengers to different locations for skiers, riders, and all visitors. The Breckconnect features include 10 minute ride from transportation center to Peak 8, transport capacity of 3,000 people per hour, 2 mid stations, 7,592 feet in length, 391 feet in elevation, there are 121 gondola cabins and 28 towers through which it travels. It allows skiers to be able to travel with all of the skiing gear.
