I started when they where born. I have two boys.
once my kids had tub baths i used soap… so we are talking a week or so old, once the cord fell off
Yeah, she’s plenty old enough. I started my daughter at a few weeks old, but not at every bath, because her skin was sensitive.
As soon as her cord fell off and she got a real bath as opposed to a sponge bath.
about that age.. i only bathed my son in water untill he was about 12 weeks aswekk, i felt a bit wiery about baby soaps and oils,.
i use johnson and johnsons baby bath soap.
I started once my son was born. we use Dove for babies, sensitive skin
Use anything made for babies. I like Johnson and Johnson, or dove sensitive. You’re baby is old enough, just watch for dry skin. If you notice her skin drying out, try using the soap every other time. But most likely you won’t have a problem (I find it’s shampoo that causes more irritation, my son’s 5 months and I still just use baby soap on his hair…)
i started as soon as his umbilical stump came off and healed and his cirscumcision was healed as well…. so about after a week or two
once the cord falls off you can use baby soap. . . actually the hospital and baby doc said not to use baby oil.
we used just a little bit of soap once the cord fell off and we had to try a few different kind johnson seemed to dry his skin so we used adenvo
i started as soon as his cord fell off. i started with the huggies washclothes that have the soap in them so i knew he didn’t get too much soap. and i use aveeno baby lotion after every bath so he doesn’t get dry skin.
The nurses used Johnson’s and Johnson’s head to toe baby wash on my son in the nursery to clean him up. Like to wash the gunk out of his hair etc. So I’d say if her cord stump is healed over then I would say its fine to wash her in a little bit of baby soap. Not too much so it wont dry her out.
I’ve washed my daughter since birth with baby soap. We use the Huggies hair & body wash or the J&J Head to Toe Foam.
I’m not sure why you are using baby oil to wash your child? As it doesn’t clean your child only keeps moisture in. Your child needs to soak in a bath with soap and gently scrub her hair to clean it, as you haven’t washed her in 3 months.
You can start using soap for your baby on his/her first bath, there’s no harm in doing that, just try using hypoallergenic soap to avoid irritations and allergies. If you want more information about these kinds of things, like caring for babies. try this site I found:. It’s a nice looking site, with good information for mothers.
you can use baby soape when your baby is at 5weeks old
but use only baby soaps and oil not other brand .
