If you are a fan of Danish teak furniture, but you don’t want to pay the high costs that are involved in buying furniture that is shipped and imported from a different country; you will soon be able to find it in a store near you. As a teen, a local woman chose to become a Danish exchange student. Upon her return to the U.S., she decided she also wated to attend a Danish college. While in college, she met a man; and following graduation, she married the Danish furniture maker. The woman returned to her hometown, and her new husband has become a citizen of the United States. They will be residing in the town that the girl grew up in. She put her degree to use when, after the local druggist retired, she became the pharmacist of the only drug store in town. Her husband is putting his furniture-making skills to use also. He has been designing and building furniture since his arrival in the states. His store will open next week. Since he will continue to work in the shop following the opening of his new business, he has hired staff to run the store.
