Antiques are for everyone, and in terms of quality and cost provide the buyer with value for money. Antiques are already antique and as such hold their value. Antique items cannot be remade (although you will find replicas). What has survived and still exists is all there is. Antiques, when first made, were never intended to become antiques. They were made to meet the fashion and demand of the day. The quality of the construction and materials were usually far better than that used today, and anything that survived was treasured. Any poor quality product eventually broke or was discarded.
