Accreditation simply means that a neutral organization has checked the program of a particular institution and found it to be all right. Accredited massage therapy schools are good for you because their genuineness has already been checked. It is better if the accrediting organization is of international level rather than a local one. However, when you are looking at accreditation option, make sure that the organization providing the accreditation is real of not. There are some unscrupulous organizations that will have you believe that they are accredited, however, the organization might be suspicious itself.
