OK we’ve decided not to let the economic malaise get us and we’re going ahead with our project to completely remodel kitchen & baths! Silly, but it’s a big relief to me to finally get off the dime and make this happen. After all they all need it and unquestionably it will restore some of the lustre to the home. That’s super important to our mood and hopefully will add an equivalent value to the resale value of the house. Now the questions really begin as to exactly what we plan to have done and to do ourselves. The Significant Other is pretty handy so we probably will rely on him to do quite a bit of prep work. Demolition and such. He’s be happy doing that. I intend to be the master planner and decor determinant. Going to be fun around here for the next six months or so!
