Sarah Coleman Dental Assistant.  It is such a pleasure for me to say that after all the classes I attended and hard work involved in getting my degree in dental assisting.  When I received my first paycheck it was well worth it.  I am so glad I chose dental assisting over a career in education.  Not that there is anything wrong with becoming a teacher.  It is just harder for teachers to find jobs than for dental assistants.  There are so many openings in this field it is hard to find enough people with degrees to fill all the positions.  There are many technical colleges that offer this course and it usually takes two years to complete.  As soon as I got my degree I began applying for jobs and sending out resumes.  I was hired two months after graduation.
