In the second week of the new me. I lost 4 lbs. OK no big deal but I did it on my own with the help of a personal trainer at my gym. It’s really not that onerous. I’m keeping a food diary and at the beginning I did a lot of reading about nutrition and calories and the dangers of fad diets. I’m not falling for the inflated promises and the inherent dangers in fads. I really am moving to a new lifestyle. I’m beginning to feel better already. So how about the pitfalls? In the mornings I’m all gung-ho and disciplined. I keep it up through lunch but in the late afternoon I have cravings and by dinner I’m ravenous. Just habit, I believe. So I’m trying to break the pattern. Check with me in a couple of weeks and see how I’m making out.
