When you have nasal allergies, you can either only be slightly affected by them or severely affected. Perhaps you will only have a slight case of the sniffles and a runny nose. Others may have the same allergy to the same allergen and have asthma and severe wheezing. Nasal congestion is common with nasal allergies, but some people have this so severely that their nasal linings become swollen shut. The same goes for the bronchial tubes. In severe cases, ears can become clogged and infected as well. So you see, allergies affect different people in different ways. Therefore, treatments may vary.
