When my son went to college I wanted to make sure that he did not have to worry about his finances, and so the first thing I did was to setup a Student Online Checking Account, because I knew it would enable him to control his finances from his desktop computer, and not have to spend time worrying about what stake his finances were in. I also knew that the online checking account would enable me to send money to him at any time that he needed it, and that he would not be charged for this transaction. Now I know that he can spend his time studying, and not worrying about his banking.
