Both LCD (liquid crystal display) and plasma (flat screen) TVs have good qualities and bad. They do, however, share many common features. Their resolutions are high-quality and display clear pictures using small dot pitch. The response time is fast with both LCD and plasma. They both display a brighter picture than the old tube televisions. The contrast ratio is high which makes both dark and bright colors work well together and generally you have a choice of screen size with both models. It appears as though an LCD TV is slightly ahead of plasma television in delivering these features to its users. LCD televisions do seem to have a slight edge over plasma TVs and can make your life brighter and definitely more comfortable!
