Electron Microscopy

So I’m heading off to college, and have decided to major in physics or chemistry. I’m really excited about getting into
Electron Microscopy. I’ve always wanted to get my hands on one of these and see all the things that are invisible to even the most powerful optical tools.
I’ve been researching scanning electron microscopy on the Internet, and my fascination just keeps growing. I can’t even begin to fathom what it took to make the first one of these actually work.
I’m going to have to start bringing a sleeping bag to the lab this year. That’s alright - I enjoy it.
