When I attended my first trade show I took some advice from a colleague who was an old hand at the business, and that was to make sure that I did not have to carry too much around with me, especially before I arrived at the convention center, because if I had to carry a lot of weight I would be too tired to deal with customers properly. In order to do this I decided to order Portable Banner Stands rather than solid backdrops, and I can see now what my colleague meant, because not having to carry a lot of weight really makes your day much easier, and enables you to concentrate on generating new business at the trade show rather than worrying about setting up a trade show booth itself.
