Nowadays rarely would you see cassette tapes. Since the introduction of the CD the use of cassette tapes are gradually diminishing. In our own home, there is not a single cassette tape left. The mini-components tape deck hasn’t been used for years. People have seen the many advantages CD’s have over tapes. I have already transferred an audio book on tape to a CD. This audio book on tape was the last cassette tape to go. Probably because it is not used as often as the music tapes.
